I hate when I have several windows open browsing the web and as each one completes a task, it comes to the front. It usually happens as I click on a link with one window and as it is loading, I bring up another window and start to read another page or type, etc. I am not sure if this is a Win98 "feature" or a IE 5.0 featrue, but either way, I can't figure out how to turn it off....

I cant load any alternate browser at work, so please don't say "load Netscape!"

thanks!

In Windows 2000, using TweakUI, there's an option under "General" that says "Prevent applications from stealing focus." I don't know if Win98 has this or not in it's TweakUI. I have this checked and even on those websites that have 7 or 8 windows open up on you, I still stay in the same, original window. The only exception is when the window maximizes itself from Javascript, so it's not a "real" browser window. These also don't tend to show up on the taskbar, either. Pain in the neck, they are! Hope this helps out some.

What do I do after I unzip it? There is no setup file... Should I copy it to a certain directory?
