Clarify: Colored lens, or plastic fascia surround?
For the former, click "LENSES" at the top of this page. I just ordered some from there, and they were great.
For the latter, it is a rare part, there aren't really any extras to speak of.

Yea I meant the latter. Not the lenses. I have to say, these weren't made very well to begin with. The guy Eutronix sent me an email saying he has some for $60, but at this point that is way too much money for me, so unless I hear about another alternative I guess I'll just live with the face plate looking a little saggy.

Badly made? What you doing with it for it to break? And $60?? You sure we're talking about the same part here?
I might have have a spare one here you can have for the price of postage (don't need it since I fitted the aluminium fascia.

Phil, you got a deal.. I will PM you.
I didn't do anything out of the ordinary to my Empeg other than open it up 2 or 3 times to either swap the lense or swap the HD> However, the very first time I removed the facia, the plastic that is on the inside to accomodate the allen screws just fell right off like it was poorly glued to it or something. Maybe it was cracked. I dunno. I read a post on here that if its lined up wrong or over-tightened it could do this. Anyway, they came off the first time I removed it. For a while I was able to sorta slip them in there, even broken off, as a kind of spacer. But now they do not even provide enough of a lip for the allen screws to hold the facia down flush on two of the holes. The facia stays in place, but is a little saggy is all.
I don't know why he wanted $60. I thought I explained well what I was looking for, but perhaps he meant a larger kit that includes the whole pull out handle and stuff I don't need. I'm not sure. But $60 is too much for what I need, that is for sure.

They are hard to come by and for anything less than $60, I'd rather just keep it for our own use especially since it's a new one.

Seriously. "Price of postage" is a criminally good deal for a fascia. I've seen more replacement handles sold (1) than I've seen fascias sold in the past 4 or so years.
Curses to that picture on riocar.org with the box full of reject fascias.

I believe I have a spare where one screw socket was broken and re-glued. I got a replacement for it earlier, so I'd probably be willing to part with it if the deal with Phil doesn't work out. It still fits and works fine.

Now you can do somebody else (not me) a favour with your broken fascia: send it to me, and I'll repair and hold onto it. The next time somebody is in dire straits about one here, yours could then be available as a spare.
Email me (address is in my profile) if you're willing.
Cheers

Bugger! I never realised they were worth so much! Still... I'm a man of my word ;-)
I've still to check my parents cellar as thats where I'm sure the faceplate is. Give me a couple of days...

Well they're only worth what someone will pay. And considering that I've never seen one for sale, there really is no guideline.

I would have thought that the only reason any are available at all is because we gave our spares away free of charge. Rob S has about 50 of them here in Cambridge. Because these are gone when they're gone I'd suggest they should only go to people who really need them on a swap for broken one basis. Just contact Rob S.

Not yet Phil. I think we were waiting to see if you could find the one you were talking about. I've had some suggestions for how to fix the one I have, which I might try.

Yeah I've had a look but I can't find it. I didn't throw it away - just tossed it aside when I bought the aluminium one :S
