BACKGROUND/DESCRIPTION OF THE DIVICE:
HI All... I came across a RIO MP3 Player It iis yellow in color with a blacka and grey LCD Screen. black trim around the LCD, and a black navigation/utility buttons.

TECHNICAL DETAILS OF THE DEVICE
It has 128MB capacity and says RIO CALI on the tag.
P/N 28260096-001
S/N 5340600136634

PROBLEM:
When I Start up the palyer it starts fine... Comes up with the Logo Screen, then all it says is UPGRADE. THis Cannot be bypassed by pushing any of the buttons.
Anyone know of any software for Fedora COre5 to upgrade/Load/Use with this player?

It's a Rio Cali 128, and you'll need to flash it with some new firmware.

Unfortunately, there's no way (that I know of) to do this from a Linux box, so you'll need to find a Windows box to do the upgrade.

I have a few additional questions:

1- Are there any known issues with the RIO Cali and DRM?
2- If yes to above question, are there any ways around the DRM issues?
3- What tools are available for this model of MP3 Player?
