I've mk2 unit 709, equipped with 20/40gb disks. Both disks have been replaced after failure. I've let the diskbuilder do it's thing and proceeded with loading the software image on it (3.00a11-dev) I've done this procedure little over a year ago with the same diskbuilder and firmware on an identical disk configuration and that went all fine.

This time however, the player boots correctly, if i compare my bootlog with several other bootlogs posted here, but as soon as player binary is started, it just hangs at 'Searching for music...' on the display.

I've run fsck on both disks and followed the default procedure form manual rebuild, which doesn't make much sense as the disks
are anyway empty. I'm completely lost on what might be wrong with this unit and I hope you guys have a suggestion without having
to rebuild the disks and reloading the firmware. As far as I know, that requires a windows machine, which I have no access to on
a regular basis.
