Hey, all. I thought I had sold my full empeg setup a couple of years back, but down in my basement I found this empeg unit and nothing else. I had two empeg units (one I kept, one I gave to my brother) and I think this unit came when I sent in one of my original unit for repair to the UK and I think there was a mix up with the shipment and customs and I think I got two mailed instead of one (I vaguely remember some sort of mixup). I installed the emplode software and found it had 20GB and was 'hijacked'. (It's been a couple years since I've used an empeg, so kinda lost track of the tech). I used a wall wart from another electronics item to power it up (so it doesn't have any accessories whatsoever).

Anyhow, I thought someone could put this to use and I could get some money out of it. The serial number is 010101306. From the FAQ it seems there's a way to check out the unit. If it turns up on the 'missing' list or whatever, I'd gladly ship it to whomever feels it belongs to as again I'm vague on the details.

So...looking for some advice. Should I try to contact someone re: the serial number to see if it clears (is there anyone maintaing that database anymore)? What's a good price to sell it at? Is there any interest in buying it? Not trying to rip anyone off, just trying to find a home for it, cause I know when I had it running, I loved it (and still miss some features now that I'm using an ipod-playing, usb-connected Pioneer head unit) and it still has a place out there.

Its not in the unofficial empeg web registry either.
