I'll be in Palo Alto Saturday evening, Jan 19th. Anyone up for some beer and food?

Oh! So close! You Brits really ought to better coordinate your schedules! lol

I wouldn't be opposed to two nights out, though.

I should get to the Crowne Plaza Cabana in Palo Alto by about 6pm. I haven't been to the area in ages and have no idea where's good to go - suggestions?

Compadre's is not far from there- just a bit further north along the El Camino Real.

Sounds good to me - necessary to book for a Saturday night?

How does 7pm sound for everyone? I know you American types don't like to be out too late *grin*

Oh, I'm talking rubbish about my schedule, flight gets into SJC at 14:45 so I can make earlier if necessary. Otherwise, I'll spend the time in Fry's!

That's a table for 5 (Nong is also coming) at Compadre's, Palo Alto, 7pm. Anyone else, shout now and I'll call them later today.

Cheers

Ed from ARM is also in town and would like to come along, plus Claire and new offspring will make an early appearance if there's room?

Come along! There was no problem getting a table, I'm sure they can accommodate more of us if needed.
