Folks,

My player intermittently will/won't adjust when I turn my headlights on. I know the wiring is correct because the other unit I have in the double DIN works correctly every time. I'm thinking it's hardware related. My current thinking is (when I have time - maybe this weekend) to find whatever /proc file is being read to get that state and add a hijack option to turn headlights on/off (just for the times when it doesn't figure it out for itself). Unless one of these already exists, and I'm missing it?

Are you sure your headlight line is actually an high/low signal? What is the other unit?

Also, are you sure it isn't the known problem with the dimmer for the empeg display?

Also possible is the known issue with the AC adapter connection switch.
