Since the Empeg site moved to RIO, I cant seem to find any of the accesories/replacements that Rob and the gang offered on their old page. Things like additional power cords and the docking chassis' for multiple cars..

Anyone seen these items?!?!?

I've send an e-mail to Rio an askedt them where to buy an car mount.
And this is the answer:
Car mounts will be available from the USA/Canada SONICblue eStore in the
next few days. The UK/International store will have them in stock in then
next month or two.

maybe they'll get the tuner module (and 1.03) in the store at the same time. I am going to wait until these carmounts get into the store anyway before I order my empeg cause I need an extra and then it will be all on one order. In preparation for the emeg's arrival, I spent about 12 hours getting my mp3's together today/yesterday. I also made my two custom bootup logos and put them on the logo site (One for my dorm room at Duke, and one for my new car, a '97 BMW M3). I just got my M3 day before yesterday, took some pictures, I threw this page up if anyone is interested. I'm going to put a lot more up when I get my empeg and other audio stuff finished in a week or so. I also ordered a hard waterproof case to carry it in. Now I just need to make a component box for my dorm room like charcoalgray99 did (and maybe learn linux better too).

Congratulations for your new car!
I think you will love the unbelievable power!!!
I don't know how great it must be to speed with this car over the highway (I've got only a '96 BMW 316i Compact *sniff*)
but what I know is: sliding curves is the greatest!!!
Have fun with your new car and try these page to get a great Logo for your empeg:

Just forgot:
At the moment I have the blue display (because I think it the cooles) but I've heard that the red display looks like the BMW red used for the illumination (but I'm not sure because I don't have it yet. I have to wait till the shop reopens again).
Order both or better: all :-))

240 hp it's had its balls cut off the uk spec ones are over 300 and you poor amercians get softer suspension as well but i am saving up for the E30 M3 which rocks but i won't have an empeg in it or carpets, back seats come to think of it

240bhp? Pah, the european 3.2L M3s have 321bhp - for some reason, the US gets de-tuned ones...

I think 240 is not too bad, ok 321 ist much better and the new one has round about 350 I think, but with the speed limit in most countries you don't need the extra 100 hp so often?!

You always need the extra 100 bhp!

Yes, but it's just strange there's such a discrepancy. The 0-60 time for the 240bhp version (2-door coupe) appears to be 5.7 sec (from BMW's website).

Even the new (343bhp) M3 0-62mph time (0-100kph) is 5.2 seconds.

I agree you don't need the top speed (and you can get to the limited 155mph top speed even with a 328i!) but accelleration is fun :)

Yes, I admit, theres nothing greater :-)
I've a part time job at SIXT (car rental) so I can drive several cars.
Some time ago I was able to drive the Mecedes-Benz S-Class (long version) with the 400 cdi.
It's unbeliebable what acceleration such a heavy car with a diesel-engine can have!
Really nice and a lot of fun :-))

Damn have YOU been busy uploading logos. You've moved mine which were the last ones all the way to the bottom of the second page!

Looks like it's time to get to work.

It wasn't me, it was Thinforth2 who found a way to convert cell phone logos to the empeg format. Very cool.
