I haven't looked at my empeg for about 2 or 3 years now and just popped into the forum to see whats been up. Holeee smokes I miss my empeg. I got sucked into the iPod hole and as neat as it can be the iPods LCD just dosen't look as cool as the VFD. I think I need to find a radio module and toss it into my Ram 1500 dammit. I'm sick of making all these damn playlists! I used to copy a folder to the mkII and bam, replicated structure!

I recently pulled mine out of its 4 year long deep sleep. Using it every day as my home MP3 player now.

I too missed it, but I really wish for an Mk3.

As advanced as ipods have gotten, I still think the Empeg is the best solution for MP3s in the car.

I agree Tony. The only real issue is the displays limitations in direct sunlight. Oh well.
