Need help, haven't used player in about 5 years, thought it was the hard drive at first, but took it out works fine. My player is stuck at the first boot logo RIO, hooked up a serial cable and the got connected.

Error Message:kernel panic unable to mount root fs

Help!!!!!! Let's keep it alive

I did everything and got an error meessage on my player no hard disk found contact support
