I would like to use my Squeezebox server to download (and play) some podcasts. Unfortunately, Logiech plugin for podcasts really lacks a lot of features, particularly the possibility to store podcast files locally to populate my podcast collection.

So, I was thinking to use another sw to download podcast files to a directory within Squeezebox server music base folder.

I'd like a podcast retrieving software (like Miro or gPodder) capable of running as a service in Windows. I know I could use srvany or other ways to make it a service, but maybe there is something natively running as a service? I could not find any...
