My empeg mk2 was one of the early ones and came with a green lens only, which was fine as my Subaru Impreza dash is green. Unfortunately the Pioneer unit mounted next to the empeg died and the replacement is blue lit which does now clash a bit.

Be aware that there are two different shades of blue that came from the factory. Some of mine had a more turquoise hue in them than others.

My main dash (clocks) is green (Impreza) and my Empeg and Pioneer head unit (replacing a double height original fit unit) was green to match but when the Pioneer died all I could get were blue units hence as long as I can any blue for the Empeg it will be an improvement.
Any thoughts on where to source replacement PATA cables (I have 2x 250gig drives installed)?

They do, not cheap mind you. Works out to just under $30 for a cable. Still if it fixes these occasional "Wot hard drive?" boot ups then sorted. Luckily it worked fine on me recent trip.
