I have a question regarding noise from the Empeg.
When I connect the Empeg to my home amp. on the CD in connectors I hear
"computernoises" in my speakers. This sounds is pretty anoying, and you can hear
it when the player is on, or when you turn it of from the menu.
It is gone ofcourse when I remove the power from the empeg.

The noise is not amplified when I turn the volum on my player up.
If I turn the volume on amp. low enough, the noise will disapear.
I will then have to set the volum on the Empeg to around -30db if I want to
be able to listen the music at all.

Is this something that is supposed to be, or are there anything wrong with my player`???

I haven't had the chance to try it in my car yet, as I smashed my finger under
my bassbox, which weighs abit. I had to go to the doctor last night to get
some stitches :) It hurts...... can't play with my Empeg in the car.

Get to make som playlists at home though...........

That said, the sound quality is real good when I play at 'normal' volume!! :)

Depending on the device that you're plugging the player into at home, you should have the Empeg's volume at 0dB (Line Level). If I hook my player up at home with a volume setting below about -15dB, I get noise, too. As it's a line-level source, you shouldn't need to change the Empeg's volume from 0dB, much like a "component" CD or tape player, which typically don't even have volume controls.
Hope this helps...if not, don't yell too loud.
