For Sale: 30 GB Mark 2a w/smoke lens. Never got around to installing it or using it. Serial number is 040104215. The only issue I know of is what the person I bought it from originally had said:

"The rotary encoder in the volume knob acts up. I heard version 3.0 has better debounce code to fix this, but I can't install it because my computer doesn't have a serial port."

I also don't have a serial port, so I can't update myself.

They do make USB to Serial adapters. I have used one with a laptop sometimes with Emplode and an Empeg.

They work okay if you wanted to keep it.

If you just want to sell it, that's a different matter.

Yeah, I've seen the adapters around, but I'm just looking to sell the empeg, and I don't want to put any additional money into it. I've had it sitting around way to long, and just want to sell it to somebody who can actually get some use out of it.
