both take a path.

well, Palantir uses the CSV so you can load the database into it and use it to build playlists on the fly. My goal is to use either the CSV or the XML to do the same for an iPhone client.

So these files are not really related to Jemplode other than that they can be built from Jemplode?

apparently one of the formats was also built by emptool or emplode, the other 2 formats are built by jemplode only. beyond that, nothing special about jemplode. whatever can use them.
