Our digital camera bit the dust. Won't turn on, respond, or do anything resembling life.

Anyone have an old point-and-shoot for free or cheap that they no longer use?

Pretty much anything will work...I'm not picky, just poor.

I've got an old Canon ELPH compact flash camera I rarely use.
I have two batteries for it, too.

Can't remember the model number just now. I think I bought it in 2002 or so.

Yes, CF. I said 'compact flash' in relation to the memory card without thinking it also describes the camera! ha!

I should be able to put my hands on the original box and most of the stuff from the original kit.

I have something similar to what he's describing (don't know where it is, but I do know it's a 3.2MP digital elph and I have all the pieces, it's in perfect working order, and there's an extra battery. I'll look for it.
