Hi guys, just got around to posting my old Rio Car on Ebay. It's been fun through the years, but it's time for me to move on. It comes with the home dock, a couple of faceplates, and two new(ish) 120gb hard drives.

I'd prefer to see this go to an enthusiast, but I can't just give it away as I need the money (You can see I just threw a bunch of other junk that's been lying around up on ebay too.)

Is the Rio Car in good working order? Has it had any upgrades, such as memory or lights? Has the encoder been replaced? In looking at the picture on eBay it looks like the original solid grey buttons so I suspect the answer is no on the lights.

I threw a bid on it mainly since I lack a home dock and have always wanted one. I don't really need the extra player since I already have two, though I might bid a bit higher if i knew the player to be free of issues. Thanks for letting me know of the sale for I rarely look on eBay.

I'm in but my pockets aren't very deep. I'd be happy with just the player and parts, so perhaps we can work something out Mark.

Unit was in regular use and booted up fine as of a year and a half ago. I still haven't wiped my stuff off of it, which I'll be doing tonight. If I run into any problems I'll post them here, but I don't expect to.

Other than taking a sharpie to the shiny bits and spray painting the mounting cage flat black, I haven't made any modifications.

I'm glad to see there are still people on here. I haven't been on the board in years, though I remember it fondly.

If the two of you work something out and one of you wins it, I'd be happy to ship the dock one way and the rest another.

I threw a higher last minute bid at it, but I still didn't get it. I guess I'm going to have to hit the shop and build a dock from scratch if I'm to ever have one.
