I'm not sure where to start here. I have two trees in my front yard, and the smaller one appears to have a problem with things eating the leaves on it. I haven't seen any bugs actively eating the leaves, but at least half of the leaves look like the one in the included photo.

Any ideas?

Is it actually being being eaten? Or are the leaves dead and they are drying/rotting?

Ooo, good point. I hadn't thought of that. You may be right. The only reason I thought it was bugs was because we have a lot of little red flying beetles around here. But I don't know what type they are or what they do/eat.
