From the looks of it, it seems that all the comments made by the stupid people were real, but the headline is incorrect in stating that they were the reason for rejecting the solar farm.

Yeah, but "town rejects solar farm because it will bring down their property values" isn't an interesting headline.

I'm not quite sure how a solar farm would bring down your property values in NC. I would think it would be a good neighbor.

- Its dog doesn't bark all day.
- Its kid doesn't play loud thumpy music

LLNL is in the middle of installing a 10 acre, 3MW solar farm.

The area it is being installed is one of the biggest ground squirrel farms I know of. I'm wondering how tasty the ground level fixed angle solar plant is going to be.
