Does anyone have a bright idea for a cool and modern way to use the Empeg these days? I have a MK1 and MK2 I haven't used in a while...

I wonder if you could install Plex server on it, and then make it read the Empeg database.

I would imagine that this would be a descent into dependency hell.

I'll bet that if your MP3 files are already correctly tagged (with embedded tags), the Plex server would just read the FID files and index/display/play them as-is without complaining.
