John, my brother in law is handicapped (cerebral palsy) and my wife and I take care of him. He needs periodically to have his hair and beard cropped very close, as in totally removed. His hair is tough enough that a conventional shaver will clog and stop cutting very quickly. If we don't do this frequently enough he ends up with skin problems.

Can anyone here recommend a good quality hair clipper that will leave him essentially bald, both head and beard? The local barber we visit seems able to do this with just his clippers without having to use a razor, and the price is reasonable enough, but John has mobility problems and transportation is difficult for him.

My hair clipper will not cut completely bald even with the guard off:

You'd need something like that (very good in my experience) plus something like this for complete hair removal:

Never used one of those but my father in law did.

I guess the Philips one would be fine on its own if you were using every week without fail

Firefox recently upgraded their software. Perhaps that is the problem.

Just fine on FireFox 132.0.1 (64-bit) Linux.

I even went and enabled the "Strict" and "Max Protection" settings, but those made no difference. Both links above load just fine.

Have you (Doug) installed some Norton malware or something?
Or perhaps your ISP is playing "man in the middle" for Deep Packet Inspection?
