I use version 1.02 or 1.03, I can't remember, but I find that the emplode software will freeze upon Synch if I take too long to move files over, make changes OR try to move too many files/make too many changes. Is this a known thing? It is really frustrating when i am thinking about where to put things and move some songs around, make tons of changes, and then when I synch, I get the initializing player screen. I have let the player initialize all night and still no dice, so I know it is frozen. I see in Win2k task manager that the program isn't responding either. Any fix for this?

This is definitely a bug report, so let's keep this discussion over in the bug reports forum where it belongs. Here is a link to that discussion.

That's odd. I can unplug the empeg leaving the emplode session open, do some work, remember I wanted to make sime changes, plug the empeg back in and sync to it no problem. Even having the emplode session open for a long time while connected doesn't seem to affect it.
What are you using to connect? USB, network or serial.
Could there be some timeout setting?
