Just found this link, which is interesting.

I've not seen any other websites who sell RioCar products in the UK.

Interestingly, they put a hefty premium on the RioCar.

Absolutely, didn't mean to pass it off as my own investifgation, just thought it was interesting, and that i'd share.

Rob is right - hugo originally pointed this out to us on the RioReceiver board (wrt the receiver, which is also on the site).

Note that the pound equivalent buying from the American Store is only £676 rather than the e store-- £90 for delivery yeh right.

Oh, not this again.

You still have to pay import duty on the thing, as well as shipping and VAT.

Do a search for this topic and you'll find a whole discussion about it - it basically works out about the same from the US and the UK.

Besides, It's a bit of a bargain either way.

Sorry if I missed previous (newbie tonite) but both figures were ex vat and import duty would be charged on both, just the American store price was avertising a $300 cut.
Isn't there a UK 'shop' if not how could I get the deal, know FA about car hifi, but deal extensively with the US in our main business (mailing machinery)

www.empeg.com is the UK/EU store.

Import duty would not be paid on this, since it's shipped within the EU (assuming you are also in the EU).
