I just received my order of my tuner and my screen kit, but instead of a screen kit, I get (what I think is) a car kit for a rio 800 with a cigarette lighter power adapter and a cassette adapter in a zip up case. Didn't this happen to somebody else? Oh well, that's (supposedly) being taken care of.

My real question is what other people think of the wired sony remotes. I know some people have said that the 1.0x series doesn't work w/ them very well, but it’s supposed to get better in 2.0. Who here has one hooked up? Are they worth it?

30 GB - Mk2a (Rio Car) - BLUE / RED

ive got one hooked up and have no problems with it. Its so nice having the remote back. Especailly useful for switching easily to and from the tuner and muting when i think i hear my phone .

It works pretty much exactly the way my sony remote used to work on my old sony head unit.

RioCar 10GB RGB - can never decide

LOL! I can't believe they did the same thing twice. The name on the box label is similar, whoever was filling the order didn't read the sku number. Look on the bright side - you now have a cassette adapter for your empeg. That way if you take a long road trip in someone elses car you can have your music with you. I have no idea what the hell to do with the power plug though. I recieved my screen kit this afternoon, so im sure they are getting you taken care of too.

I placed an order for a Mk2a last Wednesday. Got the empeg, tuner module and two remotes Monday.

They didn't mess up my shipment and shipped everything quickly.

That was me: I ordered a car player, screen kit, and tuner. Got billed for all of them, and received the screen kit and tuner. No empeg. Supposed to be fixing it though, so stayed tune.

I just received my order for a "Rio Car Remote" and a "Rio Car Screen Kit." I got my remote fine, but I also received the car kit for a Rio 600/800 instead of the screen kit...

Someone is Really not paying attention there.

I ordered it on Monday the 1st of October. Got it on the 4th, I just didn't get a notification (from our receptionist) that it was in until yesterday.
