Hi all,

When i try to do a search with the remote (usually by Title), I can get to the song I want fine, but when I press OK, the empeg spins the drives and pauses like it's going to the song, but then just keeps playing whatever it was playing already, totally unchanged. I used to be able to search fine (but then the OK button on my remote broke, and it took me a while to get a new one.. and now here I am, now it acknowledges the OK but doesn't work right, hasnt' since before the old remote broke). Any suggestions? thx

You are probably appending your tunes to the current playset. When title search page is displayed, is the word 'Search' or 'Append' in the upper left corner? You can change it by 'Select mode' on Rio remote (and 'CD-MD-CH', IIRC, on Kenwood one).

Aha, yup, that did it... I hadn't even noticed the word 'append' because I can't see the top-left of the display when I'm in the driver's seat. Thanks

This just answered my question also, I wanted to know how to append items to the current list while searching. Now I know. =)
