[I did a search for 'beep' over the past couple days and didn't find anything,
so I assume this hasn't been reported yet]

I got a riocar the other day, with the new rio remote. Today, on the
way to work, I used the rio remote in the car with my Mk2 empeg running
2.0b3.

Oddly, I noticed that the empeg doesn't beep when skipping tracks (the
|<< and >>| buttons) with the rio remote, but does beep with the Kenwood
remote.

I suspect this is a bug. (I've also emailed [email protected].)

The beep voume is turned right down to 0% on the new release following install. You have to dive into the Sound/Beeps menu and turn it up again to a level that is more useful. You can now control the % level of the beeps properly and it is heaven, believe me - no more punctured eardrums and screaming passengers when the beeps are set on "Low".....
