I live in a rather hot climate... what is the maximum heat resistance of the unit?

Weee thats interesting for me too .
i live in a f*cking cold climate most of the time, but the car hifi bay resides close to one of the cars heating vents so the Pioneer DSP CD System i had 2 years ago complained nore then 1 time with a "Unit overheated auto shut off" ( or so ) error and went down.
