I got my Mk2a "spare" today, yippee...

Unfortuntately I ran into some problems while preparing to run emplode clone. My Mk1 is running 2.0b, so I decided the first thing to do was to upgrade the Mk2a to 2.0b as well. I have been caught by the "empty playlist" bug already so first I uploaded some tracks to be safe.

I then upgraded to 1.03, but when it booted afterwards I get "Starting radio failed" displayed on the empeg screen.

Oh well I thought, I'll just upgrade to 2.0b now. But that doesn't work, when I try to upgrade I get "hardware revision check failed".

Any one have any ideas ?

Not exactly sure of the sequence of events you're having, but there is a possibility you downloaded a "car1" version of an upgrade file somewhere in there. You probably don't own a Mark 1, so make sure to use the "car2" upgrade files.

That would be it ;-)

Both upgrades that I used were of course for the Mk1, as that is what I downloaded them for.

Idiot...
