Is there a simple way to do this? The empeg clone tool is only for a MK1 to MK2. I would like to clone my older MK2a to my back up MK2a so I can start using it instead.

Hmm. Did you actually try it? I thought it would work when going to a higher serial number. I could be wrong.

I've tried it and I receive an error message that only one player can be found on USB. Both of them show up in the device manager though...

Same here, only from a mk2 to a mk2a. Now, I did only try it with the 2.03 software, so it may be a bug there.....
