Ever since I got my empeg, my rotary knob has been royally screwed. It turns fine, but pushing it seems to cause about three events to happen -- a turn, a press, and then another turn. It varies, though. It's more annoying than anything else, because I can do everything I needed with the buttons. But when the empeg was discontinued, I decided that it would be a good time to go ahead and get it fixed.

When I contacted the friendly folks at empeg, they not only agreed to fix it, but said that they wanted to try to fix it in software, but didn't have a broken unit to test, and that they would like to see mine in order to do so. I'm currently sans empeg, but they said that it should only take a couple of days.

Anyway, I just sent it back today, which the munificent folks at empeg offered to pay for, so maybe we should see something real soon. I don't know how many of the rest of you have a similar problem, but maybe hope is in sight for us.
