Just did my first sync with 2.00b3 and got a sync error while writing player configuration. error 0x80072736. Didn't find this error-number mentioned here, so just for reporting.
It's win2k,emplode 2.0beta3, MK2 with developer-image 2.00beta3 over ethernet on my company-network (not too busy but not alone).
No custom-soft on the empeg.

After closing and starting emplode again, all new tunes are there ok.

It's the same error that I posted about (and just recently brought back up top). The only thing that solved it was to isolate the empeg off the network, or sync on my home network.

I'm waiting on the next release beta to see if it has changed much. If not, I'll probably see if anyone at empeg wants a packet dump of the network to gauge the traffic. The empeg sits on a lab network, so it gets pelted with tons of SNMP discover traffic, and all kind of Windows broadcast noise/DHCP requests.

The problem doesn't have to be network-related from what we know, though. I had the same problem all weekend (did about 10 synchs), all over USB. It seemed like it was timing out on something, maybe waiting for the drives to spin up again. I know they were spun up to write the songs I was uploading, but the drives seemed to be spinning up again right before I got this error every time. Details: Mk1, 1 6G and 1 5G drive.
