Hey all -
Just got my Mark 2a, and am having some problems....

I've upgraded to the latest versions of everything (Emplode and Ver.2-beta3 of the player software). The Emplode can't connect to the player database and the player seems to cycle through the bootup screen (which shows your name and contact information) and the "End of Playlist" screen.

I've tried to re-flash the software but that hasn't worked.

Any help would be appreciated!!
Thanks,
Wes

Upgraded of course with the serial....connecting to Emplode with Ethernet. I was able to connect after first upgrading...however the error occurred when I was synchronizing.

The Emplode can't connect to the player database and the player seems to cycle through the bootup screen (which shows your name and contact information) and the "End of Playlist" screen.

This is a known bug in 2.0-beta3 (they really mean it when they say "beta").

If you downgrade to 1.03 (both Emplode and the player software), you should be all right until the next beta is released (which will have this bug fixed).

If, after you've played with 1.03 for a while, you decide you want to walk on the wild side again, you can go back up to 2.0b3 as long as you've got tunes on the player and an active playlist playing (the bug only happens when you boot to an empty playlist).
