Interesing.. has anyone else tried Beta7 on a Mk.1? Have you tried the consumer version?

I loaded the consumer version onto a Mk.1 on Friday and it worked fine.

The consumer upgrade seems to boot just fine; though, I wonder if anyone else has seen this sort of error on a single drive Mark I using the beta7 developer image.

Happy Holidays.

I have tried both, consumer/developer. They both install and run fine for playing music.

My problem is that when syncing, and I get to the point 'restarting player' the empeg hangs forever. I've tried looking at the shell with the serial cable to see what it does. All I can see is that it remounts the drive just before it hangs.

/me also thinks maybe it can be a memory problem, but who knows.

Isn't this known problem with 2.0betas? I just ignore them when they happen with my MkII (emplode either fails to restart the player or the player gets quite suttery and unstable after restart). I just reboot the player and exit emplode...
