I ordered my 60gb unit on the 26th, and the status still says "Has Products Pending Shipment". Has anyone else seen an order from the 26th ship out yet? I'm getting a bit nervous that it might not ever ship out. Every time I have tried to call the support number, it has been "Queues are full, callback later".

chill out.. it hasnt been that long. i ordered mine on the 24th and i just got it today.. also if u took note while ordering it said not shipping till jan. 3rd, you paid for it, its yours.. just give it some time.. not if jan. 10th rolls around i would start to worrie

Heh, well it's my friend that is a bit worried, since I told him I'd sell my existing unit to him once I cloned it over to the 60gb. His roomate ordered on the 24th, and should be getting his today as well, so thats not going to help the situation

If it is of any comfort to people, I ordered 2 from the US store, and they just arrived today. Now I have three spares, and I will be checking with the folks in the office to see if anyone wanted one, but missed out on the liquidation. After that...

I ordered mine on the 24th and got it today also. I'm guessing they have a lot of backlog to go through. That, and the notification I got said that they weren't even going to start shipping again until the 2nd because of the holidays. *shrug*

I'm not sure if you guys are talking about the same thing. I assume when you guys say you "got yours", you mean you actually received the product. I too ordered, on the 27th, and all it says is "product pending shipping" (or some such). I haven't even received a confirmation email or a tracking number or any such thing. And now, everything is sold out. So, I'm not likely to get any Rio Car now.

Correct. It arrived on the doorstep today. I do not know how quickly they sold out, but I am surprised that they were shipped at all before 2002. I would not give up hope just yet, though.

I suspect you'll get it if the order page has not been updated to show that you won't. The stock updates on the US page were happening very fast and it was very easy to see when units were sold out.

Certain units became available again for a little while after having previously sold out. For what reason I don't know. Your order will read pending until some additional action has been taken, so that much is normal. You will only get a confirmation mail with tracking number when the packageactually goes out the door.

Check your credit card balance. If the sum of the player is still sitting in your authorizations, then it looks like the charge will come up as posted very soon.

I imagine they have a lot of orders to fulfill. Don't think for a second that the majority of orders have been accounted for with posts on this BBS. Not by a long shot.

SB seemed to have handled processing very quickly for my stuff. Now leave it up to FedEx and Canada Customs to muck things up. A FedEx truck must have passed my my house today to take my package to another depot that is FARTHER than the one at the airport. So they can come back to deliver it on Wednesday. How about them apples? I live less than 1/3 of the way between the main FedEx depot at the Toronto International Airport and the one in backwoods Owen Sound Ontario. The truck has to literally pass within a few hundred metres of my house to get between those two points (that's probably a 200KM trip and then 160 back to my house on Wedneday, when coming here direct is only 40 perhaps).

I even had a cheque taped to the door today for the driver. Doh. Oh well, I'm not in a hurry, but as it turns out, someone was actually home today but on Wednesday I'll definietly have to do the note-on-the-door thing again.
