Hmm. I just tried it on my Windows 2000 testbed machine here at work and it worked fine. Of course, this is on a
fresh installation of Win2K, with no other software installed.
First thing to check: Is there something wrong with the VB3 Runtime DLL? Check the system for any file named VBRUN300.DLL. I supplied one with Gapkiller and it should just be there in the directory with it. If Win2K has one of its own (in the system or system32 folders or elsewhere) try renaming it temporarily.
Second thing to check: Did the file you downloaded unzip correctly? No errors? Are the files corrupted somehow?
Third thing: The folder you unzipped it into... is it read-writeable by the current logged-in user? Does it have enough free disk space to hold two copies of each song it's working on?
If none of that helps, please
email me and we'll work on it together in more detail.
