I just wanted to post a message since someone that does not own an Empeg might get the wrong impressions with all the "problem" posts and get the impression that the Empeg isn't that great of a unit.

This IS a wonderful unit and does exactly what it says it will. The Empeg folks have be WONDERFUL in responding to requests - try getting that from Sony, Alpine or the likes. They constantly watch the forums, post feedback and help out where ever possible. With each new revision of the software - the Empeg only gets better and better.

If you are thinking about purchasing one when your number comes up - DO IT - you'll love the unit. If you are in line - hold out - they are coming soon according to the Empeg folks.
