Finally returned from my vacation to Florida. Took the wife and 17-month son in the Honda Odyssey to Orlando and stayed w/relatives, and made a lot of stops to see family and sights along the way.

This first major road trip with the Empeg was a major success, esp. in terms of the music. About 4,000 tracks (and counting), threw it into shuffle, least often played, and let it go. When Lex was ready for an in-car nap, we temporarily switched to his playlist (he seemed to like that a lot), then faded it to the front seat afterward.

Got a few people asking about it (bringing it into a restaurant, for instance) and gave 'em "the short version" - all in all, folks were impressed that something that size could hold so much music on it.

And now with the 60GB drives out ... heh-heh.
