I have a BMW M3 convertible and originally thought I'd go with the amber display since my illumination is closest to that color. From what I've read, the empeg's amber display is more orange compared to the Bimmer's display being more red so its more important for me to have the most readable color in sunlight. I know that at least one of the colors washes completely in direct sunlight but do the other 2 fare any better?

Green is the brightest/highest contrast as this is closest to the actual emitted spectrum of the VF display.
