OK... Totally Newbie question here...
Had 2.0b7 on my 2 day old Empeg, Installed Hijack (using logoedit), Player no longer boots.
Re-installed 2.0b7. Player's fine. Re-installed Hijack. Player no longer boots. Before I try this one more time. Do I need the developer kernel b4 installing Hijack? I've been using consumer.

Thanks.

You don't need the developer version. Mark himself stated a little while ago that he was running the consumer software.

Hopefully Mark will jump in here and help you out, but you should probably have posted Hijack related messages in the programming section. Don't double-post now though. Not unless Tony or someone wants to close this thread so you can start a new one.

Heh, figures I'd pick the wrong forum. Thx for the info.. I think I'm going to try the developer and install it from the shell prompt.
Thanks again

I think you're the same guy who had his question answered in another forum, right?

If you're not the same guy, the answer was: Your copy of the Hijack kernel was a corrupted download. Re-download the file with a proper download manager like GetRight and send it to the player again. All should be well.

If you are the same guy: Please don't cross-post. Thanks.

And congratulations on your new toy!

Hey Tony...

Do you have a hot-key set up that spits out:

Re-download the file with a proper download manager like GetRight

??
