A few times when I've been cycling through the visuals, I'll get this one
that has the entire screen getting brighter and darker with the music, with
sort of random "static" on top of that. I've only seen it like 3 times, but
it is in my opinion one of the coolest visuals. The only problem is that I
can't find it again. Last time It was right before the second of the "wave" ones (the line across the middle that shows the "sound waves"... I don't know
the real term).

Is this some kind of easter egg? Or maybe a bug in one of the visuals?

Its so cool. I want it all the time.

Yeah, I saw it, too. One of my friends was awe-strickenly scanning through the visuals and thought it was the coolest one. I though it was a bug in the "Plaid" visual, but it wasn't.
What is it, and can we have it for real?
