Like the Hijack web page says: Hijack kernels will work with *any* v2.00 beta. v193 is the best at present, fully compatible with beta11.

Cheers

Although the voladj patch does needs to be changed for the 2.0b11 kernel source since empeg.h has now moved

I may be doing something wrong, but the "Knob Rotate Redefinition" option seems to be missing in 193 whether it's installed in b7 or b11. Anyone else notice this?

The release notes indicate that it got nuked, in favour of a new "KnobSeek" virtual button that can be mapped to any popup menu or button.

Thanks Mark, I'll give this a try.
Unless the "numerous features" list is the same as the "release notes", I coundn't find the notes from your main Hijack page.

BTW, I REALLY like the browsing feature you added to the last version. And thanks for making a great product even better!

Ever since I upgraded to B11 and Hijack v195 (or v196), I can't seem to get the Restore Visual to work in DC Power Mode. It always reboots back to the Now & Next mode. It should go back to Info: Transient which is what I had before shutdown...Anyone else having the same problem, or is this just me?

There's a known problem in b11 (regardless of hijack version) where the player always comes up in Info:Transient. I would imagine this throws off Mark's Restore DC Visuals functionality.

I could see how this may go unnoticed... I almost ALWAYS have transient on (on purpose)! Did anyone else noticed that the title stays up a bit longer? I like that.. before I wouldn't look down to see the song and artist untill it had just disappeared.

Hmm I didn't notice the longer duration myself. Looks very close to the old one to me, at least on short titles.

I always use transient myself but I did read about this problem over on bug reports.

Yeah i noticed it once i got in my car. First the visual kept popping up then it would always be on transient when I hold down to get the visual back... i might have to go back to beta7 is this continues ; ( Maybe it can be fixed in hijack (crosses fingers)

So, if I'm understanding correctly, if I disable the Restore Visuals, it will always start up in Info:Transient by default (until 2.0b11+ fixes it)? I guess I'll go give it a try...
