In addition to experiencing the issue #1779 with the sony stalk not scrolling the menus, I also notice some very eratic behavior with it.

When jumping forward or back a track, the stalk works usually. Occassionally though (at least once out of 5 times) it will seem to delay the input for a few seconds (around 5 to 10 seconds) and then do the jump.

About one out of ten times it will ignore the input all together. In this situation subsequent input from the stalk will put it into a "permanent scan mode" ... scanning through each song very fast and won't stop without a lot of random effort on the sony stalk end.

It should be noted that this is with a complete fresh installation (wiped drive + new songs) of the factory (not hijack) B11 on a RioCar.

And downgrading to a previous software version fixes the problem?

It fixes this specific problem, but adds issues like not being able to seek with the stalk.

Just thought id say im having the same problem. I do have hijack installed. When i get a moment ill try reloading the empeg update to rule out hijack.
