For some reason my player is no longer working. When I first power it on, no song is selected. If I change to Tuner, it works fine. If I try to select a play list from the menu it shows the playlist highlighted but then hangs the player. The only way to recover is to power fail it. Any idea what happened? I've tried selecting the free playlist, but same problem. I only have one other playlist (Artist) with several sublists.

I'd suggest using the latest version 7b and resynching with the new emplode.

Same problem for me. After update to 7b my playlists are destroyed. I can't sync anymore. It just stops responding. I'll try to update the firmware again...
