I was thinking of downgrading back to 2.0b7 or 2.0b3, but couldn't find the previous beta downloads.

Are they available somewhere on the empeg site? Or perhaps we should make an archive of them on riocar.org?

You shouldn't downgrade to beta7 or beta3 for any reason whatsoever. Major bugs were fixed between those betas and beta11.

The only downgrade should be to 1.03 if you do it.

Although if you need the functionality 2.0 beta 7 gives you then it is useful. I was quite happy with most of b7's functions and would never go back to 1.03 except for temporary fixes.

If you had a Mark 1 I could help you since I save all the beta's and Hijack's I download but since I only have a Mark 1 I don't download the Mark II version.

Maybe someone else with a Mark 2 does the same as me.

I have all the old betas on my home pc (and most hijack and displayserver versions - I am a relentless hoarder) but it is hiding in the attic while I try to sell my house:)
If you have had no joy by next week I should have it live again and can email to you.

2.00beta7 has a serious bug which can cause a simple copy and paste to operate like a DELETE. I lost every song by any artist beginning with the letter C this way while re-organizing my playlists... so I wouldn't recommend it.

True, b7 would be a bad idea. But, b3 doesn't have the seek issue, which I think is still an issue in b11. Also, the volume ramp-up = volume spike in b11 is kind of annoying.

To be honest, I'm not the one who wants to downgrade. My friend was complaining about some issues he had (among them being the volume ramp-up).

Oh, and I did manage to find the old betas on my computer.

I have a question about the volume-ramp = volume-spike bug.

Is anyone having it who is NOT running Hijack with the Restore DC/Car visuals on or doing an "Initial=" in their config.ini?

I'm wondering if the volume ramp problem is caused by Hijack trying to stuff commands at the player during the ramp period.

It's done it to me every time under b11, including before I installed Hijack.
