***DISCLAIMER****
I do not know where to find this bag online. I searched and searched for it but came up empty. I am only posting this information in hopes that some internet snoop on the BBS will be able to find it somewhere. I found it in a camera store in Cambridge Massachusetts. (no, not England... Massachusetts) Please do not read this and then flame me for not telling you where to get it. I hope someone can find out though....
***DISCLAIMER***

Well, I wasn't able to get a bag for my Empeg like a lot of people during the fire sale but I did pick one up at a camera store that does the trick for me.

The bag is made by Quantaray (they make camera lenses from what I understand.) The bag is actually a really nice fit for the Empeg. There is a little padding all the way around, not too much though. The Empeg fits in there nicely but I would have to say there is just enough room left if you would like to add some additional padding of your own.

It has a good size front pocket for carrying your AC adapter, remote, and some other wires. The pocket is also big enough to hold a faceplate case (along with the wires) for those of you that are using a head unit with your empeg , as I am. There is a small mesh pocket on the inside just underneath the cover when you unzip it. You can see this in the photos I posted below. Don't know what you would put in there but it would have to be thin.

On the back is another thin pocket that spans the entire back of the bag. This fits my USB cable nicely if I need to take it with me for some reason or another. I suppose you could put anything you wanted in the pocket (small book, change, an incredibly short, thin man named Chuck...)

There are two ways of carrying it as well (and personally I don't think it looks like a purse. Even thought there's nothing wrong with carrying a purse ) It comes with a shoulder strap and a handle on the top. The shoulder strap is long enough to run it across your body so that you don't chance it slipping off your shoulder.

They had a few different colors at the store as well (red, yellow and green)

One other thing.... My fiance was with me when I was taking the pictures to share with everyone. She kept asking why I was going through the trouble of taking and posting them. I kept trying to explain how great this community is and how everyone is so helpful that I wanted to try and help some people back. She still thought I was crazy for making the effort. I guess people without an Empeg of their own will never understand....

Looks nice! It's what I'd want unless I had a Pelican case...

Any idea of what Quantaray calls that model? A quick google found me http://www.ritzcamera.com (among others) and they had a fair selection of Quantaray cases, of which I find this one and this one the most likely candidates, but none that matched exactly...

It was Ritz Camera at the Cambridgside Galleria. These bags were hanging on the wall all the way at the back.

That's exactly what I found when I was searching. If I get a chance I will try to stop in the store and take a look at the model (I threw out the tags that were attached to mine...)

I just called the store where I bought it and he says that the model is QCCL. I still couldn't find anything on the web for that. I will keep looking though.

Could QCCL be short for Quantaray Crinkle Color, Large

Still doesn't look exactly like yours, could it be different 'year' models?

What are the dimensions of your bag (LxWxH)?

I'm using a diaper bag for my empeg. It probably doesn't have enough padding, but it's all I've got at the moment. I got it as a white elephant gift for christmas this year. The person that gave it got it for free from the hospital when they had their baby last year. It's yellow and blue and has cute pictures of Peter Rabbit all over it.

HeHe....You could always increase the padding with.....diapers! And if they were 'smelly diapers' no-one would ever be tempted to steal your Empeg.

I just measured my bag and the dimesnions are the same as this one

I also stopped into a Ritz Camera tonight and checked out the bags. They had the one pictured above but not mine. My bag might be an older model like you said. So, if you want one then I would say this is it.

OK.

Was actually just trying to figure it out for "the greater good" of the community , as I carry my empeg around in a Pelican 1200 case, and also have a original empeg case.

IIRC from browsing the ritzcamera site, the have a similar bag that is somewhat larger too - incase you want to add serious padding, or carry more stuff.

OK, one last post about the bag . This is the exact same bag as mine with one exception, the material on the outside. I saw this one in the Ritz Camera store as well. Dimensions are the same and it comes in all of the colors mentioned before. So if anyone wanted one then get this one.

It really is a perfect fit for the Empeg

(thanks for your help Michael!!)
