So this will be the last batch unless I see a constant flow of orders.

Part of the reason why you arent getting orders is that people dont see your posts once they fall off the first page of recent threads. We have hundreds of new users now, and most of them don't know that your product is available. Could you maybe post something on riocar.org about your lenses? Maybe you could post a link there to your website that has the different colors on it.

I was going to write the very same thing last night. Steve, make a post in General just telling people about the lenses with the links to your website. I'm sure no one will mind. You should be able to get a TON of new orders. Just look at the feedback your last thread in here generated. And I am willing to bet that the majority of readers skip right over this forum.

Now, what I'm interested in is if you're thinking about knocking off a simple metal face similar to your MK1 version for the MK2a. I thought you had mentioned about this possiblility long ago, but I could be wrong... This I would LOVE.

You know I completely forgot about that experiment since I put the prototypes away after getting po'ed that everybody dropped their interest it like yesterdays news when that other guy started working on his machined aluminum replacement for the Mark II. It sounded like nobody wanted to bothered with my old flat plastic plates.

I'd like to see the pics, so put em up. I also think the face shown in your current pics (does look like aluminum) is very effective looking. Clean. Nice. I really like the simple cut-out shape for the display.

I believe that you'd get a constant flow of orders if I were to create a "Can we get other lens colors?" FAQ entry which linked to the lens comparison chart updated with photos of the custom lenses...

Sure. I could do a small tracking database, and let all the payments be handled by something like PayPal. Anyone know of a commerce module for PHPNuke that I could start to hack at?

Got my lenses today and they are great. Brad is right WRT the smoked lense producing a light green that is a great match for the WRX dash illmination. I was also able to change the variable color on my Kenwwod to a light green that is a very close match. Great! Anyone contemplating a WRX would do well to grab a smoked plate while you've got them. I'll probably e-mail to check on getting one more as a spare.

That is a distinct possibility given the area of the country that you live in is the same neck of the woods as our recent national catastrophe.

Give it time. If it ends ups not showing up at all we'll work something out.
