It would be great if someone cound make plastic dust covers for the connectors between the rio unit and the car harness. If there is too much dust on them, my player sounds like it has static. Dust covers like the plastic ones that slide over Nintendo cartridges would work great--Just slide them onto the connectors when you take the unit out of the car. Let me know if anyone would be interested in selling these.

I'd much rather take 5 minutes to carefully clean my contacts with a cotton swab and alcohol in the rare event that I'm getting bad contacts, than arse around with dust covers every time I use my car

Perhaps it's time to invest in a dust buster!
