I had my riocar mark2 for less then a month and yesterday it stopped booting. The riologo comes on and i hear the disk spin when it boots but then it just dies but the rio logo stays on and anybutton i press it doesnt respond. I cant see it with my emplode tool either. Anyone knows what this could be?

It's pretty much guaranteed to be the drive cable.. maybe the connector has come loose. Email the support guy (David) and he'll probably ask you to open it up and have a look.

I allready opened it, i didnt dismount anyting but took a jewerly screwdriver and pushed the cable in to make sure its not loose.
Also I have a 30 gig one and there is room for one more drive. When I opened the unit I see that there is a loose connector cable. Is that reserved for another drive?

Yeah, that's for the other drive. The other end of the cable (underneath the drive bays) may be loose, but contact support (David) first, or you'll void the warranty.
