After uploading a new Hijack kernel, should I be calling restartUnit or restartPlayer? I am currently calling restartUnit, but Tony's had some problems with DHCP addresses being reassigned. I notice that after a sync, it only calls restartPlayer, but I don't know if this is "enough" when you put a new kernel on?

Just watch the display: if the animation appears during the restart, then the method you are using is sufficient. Otherwise, not.

I'm talking kernel this time, not animation ... Though the same probably applies -- I can just check /proc/version after the restart.

YEah, same applies -- the kernel plays the animation, but only when it is genuinely restarted. So if you see the animation, you know you are running the newest kernel that was downloaded.

Cheers
