Umm sorry to say but I think they're mistaken the 40GN is a 40GB drive the 60GN is the 60GB drive. Actually they only go up to 40GB and 60GB respectively.

Well then IBM is mistaken but check out page 3 of this pdf

I just ment the web site was using the wrong model number and to check it out more i.e. call them to make sure it's really a 60GB drive and not a 40GB drive. I've had too many venders pull that crap on me.

Cool. Ive noticed that IBM isn't always super clear that model number stuff.. but that doc you point to is pretty straight forward. What is weird about that link is that no specs are available ! wtf! You are right - a phone call would be the best idea.
